Trip #22-5 4-29-2022 OFF SHORE - BLUEFIN- OPEN

We've been grinding away at this bluefin the past couple days and nights and have put together a nice catch thus far. Best fishing is in the dark hours and we are starting to see the 100 pound plus fish. We had a busy night last night with fish up to 185 pounds and 17 over 100 pounds. We are gonna give it another shot tonight before heading in and hoping to end on a bang.

Trip 22-8 Foreman Charter

We left Friday on our Foreman 3 Day Trip with a great group of guys and gals. Headed south to the bluefin zone and had a tough go around. For 2 days we tried and tried, but had little results for our efforts. The last day Captain Brian decided to change up the game plan and go look for big ones. Last night we put the cherry on top of the trip. Had 42 bluefin 25 of them being from 80-160 pounds and the rest being 30-50 pounds. Everyone was super stoked and had a killer trip. Thanks again Foreman Charter.

Report:

We departed on our first 8 day trip. The annual Phenix/Rogers with a great group of anglers. We made our way south and started out fishing for yellowtail. It's great when a plan comes together. We finished our day with our daily limit of yellowtail! Lots of fun yanking and cranking.The fish were 15-25+ pounds and eager to jump on the hook. We are hanging out and we will give it another try tomorrow. Wish us luck.

Trip 22-9 Phenix Rods Roger Eckhardt Update

We had another great day yellowtailing yesterday that started in the early hours of the morning. The hot ticket was either a dropper loop rig or the good ole yoyo jig. The gang experienced another day of really good fishing. After the dust settled we decided to pick up our anchor and get on the hunt for tuna. We will be looking in our travels, but the guys have the day to switch gears into tuna mode. We will keep you guys posted on what we come up with. Wish us luck.
