Friday Report
by Brian Pifer, 8-04-2023
Today we focused on yellowtail that pulled a no show. We were fortunate to catch a few nice ones.
Went offshore to watch yellowfin tuna foam around on anchovy balls. Hard to get a bite with our sardines.
Ran into a sonar school right before dark for a few bluefin tuna. Stuck with the boat and boiled around but once again tough to get a bite.
Covered lots of water today with our trolling feathers for 1 mahi mahi.
With weather not on our side this trip it was still a pleasure to see all of you. Thank you everyone

Trip 23-23 Graftech Rods/ Roger Eckhardt 8 Day
by Paul Strasser, 8-19-2023
Update from Captain Paul from the Bridge.
We started our trip along the Baja coast with excellent yellowtail fishing. We have yellowtail up to 30lbs. We traveled to the ridge where we found epic yellowfin tuna fishing along with more yellowtail. We hit Alijos Rocks and picked a few wahoo along with more yellowfin tuna. We are now fishing between Cortez and Tanner bank. We have bluefin tuna between 60 and 130 lbs. While I was speaking with Paul this morning they landed another 100+lb bluefin. It's been an amazing 8 days. I always enjoy fishing with Roger's guys. They know how to catch fish and they know how to have fun.

2 Day Offshore Trip
by Brian Pifer, 8-21-2023
We departed this morning on a 2 Day Offshore Trip. Unfortunately our trip got shortened a day by mother nature but she gave us beautiful weather today. So far the trip has been good. Good grade yellowtail on kelps, with good sign of yellowfin tuna around also. We put together a great day with little over 90 mixed fix. Hoping we can locate this bluefin for some night action.
