trip 21-8 great pictures for a great start

After a couple days travel we are all settled in down here. We left with the Graftech rods group for 7 days. Lots of good people onboard and they were chomping at the bit to get the party started. After a bit of scouting we ran into some hungry yellowtail. Fishing got hot and heavy for us just before the sunset. We are on scene again this morning and we are gonna give another go. We’ll check back later. Matt and Independence Crew

trip 21-8 GREAT YELLOW TAIL ACTION

We experienced some great yellowtail fishing yesterday. As good as it gets. Flyline sardine and the surface iron was the hot ticket. We re all fixed up on yellowtail and are on our way up in preparation for some windy weather on the way. We will be up in the local bluefin tuna grounds tomorrow night and hoping to get a piece of the action. Wish us luck Matt and Indy crew

trip 21-9 John Collins Trip

We left yesterday afternoon on our John Collins 8 Day Trip. The guys are traveling south bound with beautiful weather in our sights. Wish the luck!

YELLOWTAIL

Excellent yellowtail fishing yesterday. Our group of guys were put to the test on the big mean machines. They were bitting everything from fly line, to yo-yo, to dropper loop sardines. Hoping for another good day. Keep ya'll updated. Wish us luck!!!! Brian & Indy crew

BLUEFIN

What a day we had. We have limits of Bluefin Tuna for our day ranging from 20lbs to 110lbs with majority of them being 40 to 60 pounds. The fish wanted to bite and stuck with us all day. We have 1 day left of our trip before it's over. Wish us luck. Brian & Indy crew

ANOTHER GREAT DAY

Another epic day to end our John Collins 8 Day Trip. We couldn't of asked for a better fishing trip. The guys put in a lot of work but it paid off. Ended our day with 30 Bluefin Tuna with 11 over 100 pounds and the rest 40 to 70 pounds. What a great way to finish but unfortunately the fun has ended. Everyone with smiles on their face a trip that will never be forgotten. Kehrli says " GOD BLESS JACK NEILSON"

We left a couple days ago for 8 days with Lori Barber as our fearless charter master. After all the seeker rods and swag costs sunglasses and salty crew goodies were passed out it didn’t take long to get down to business. We have been busy to say the least and we are all fixed up on Yellowtail. We started working our way up and ram into some Yellowfin Tuna in our travels. We scraped up 58 tuna from 10-15 pounds. We are making our way back up for Bluefin now and will be on scene tomorrow night. Wish us luck on the Bluefin. Matt and Indy crew.
