a little wahoo action!
A little action on wahoo!
Roger Eckhardt's 16-day
Last few days have been tough fishing. Conditions haven't been the best but there are still some nice
fish around. Hoping things change for the better tomorrow.
24-2 nice yellowfin!
Darrell with a nice yellowfin!
24-2 Nice fish caught
Fishing has been on the slow side of things. Very
short window of opportunity first thing in the
morning and an hour before the sun goes down on the better grade tuna. All we can do is keep trying and hope tomorrow is better.

214 lb. Yellowfin
We had some action today. Glen had a 214lb yellowfin tuna this morning. Had a few more tuna over a 100, but the majority of our fish were 50-75lbs with a few smaller. Trolled around for a few wahoo to break up the day. We are hoping tomorrow brings us more fish.
Enough to go around
Enough to go around. Fun fishing on 40-90 pound yellowfin with a few standouts. We have one more day of fishing tomorrow before we have to start heading for home. We are going to try and catch what we can in the morning and button down the hatches for the weather forecast coming

Headed Home
We are headed home. Fished this morning for a few hours before we called it a trip. Another small window of opportunity where we caught 2 fish and lost most of what we hooked due to chew offs, pulled hooks, and even a hook snapping in half. Nalie and Don F. were the lucky ones this morning. This one tapped out at 170
Roger's 16 day trip
The Roger's 16 Day Trip is coming to an end.
We've been traveling for the last few days up the line in some 15-25 knots of wind with 3-5ft swell, making it a slow ride up. Despite the start of our trip with a mechanical issue and having a
medical emergency, we did the best we could.
We still had some good days of fishing to make our trip. There are plenty of nice fish that came
over the rail with a few wahoo in the mix.
Wanted to thank Roger for putting the trip
together, all the sponsors with all the giveaways, and everyone for coming on a trip we will never
forget. We will be in at 0600 back to Point Loma Sportfishing dock. See you all then!
