Trip #21-31 11-1-2021 WE'RE ON THE HUNT
Trip #21-31 11-1-2021 on the look out!
Spent the day looking at a few more banks for those missing big tuna. We were unsuccessful again today but we're not giving up. It can change any day. We are going to spend one more day looking for the trophy tunas before heading back up the line. Let you know what happens tomorrow. Wish us luck!
Trip 21-31 still looking, still hoping
Today we gave it our last shot at a big tuna. Unfortunately the tuna gods weren't on our side. We covered hundreds of miles looking and trying everything we could. Sometimes you can't win them all. But the good thing is that we have plenty more days to fish. We are currently heading back up the line to put ourselves in position tomorrow to catch some fish. We'll check back tomorrow.
ON THE RIDGE
Finally got some decent fish on the ridge after spending the last few days on the outer banks below Mag Bay looking for the big girls. Just a tad early but that could happen any day. Enjoy the photos. Brian & Indy crew

GOOD TUNA FISHING
Excellent tuna fishing yesterday. We finished up what we needed in the morning and took off looking for Wahoo and Yellowtail. Today we had steady Wahoo action. Still a very challenging fish to catch due to them falling of the hooks but we managed 33 for our efforts. Also had a bonus 70 pound Yellowtail in the mix.
NICE FINISH
We've been traveling the last few days in not so nice weather. We had a little window to break down our gear today and the guys got everything ready for the next trip. We will be in tomorrow morning around 0500. Myself and the crew want to thank Stan Vanderburg for putting a great trip together.

trip 21-32
After another great day of wahoo fishing we headed up the beach for yellowtail. We had good weather and great fishing. Yo-yo jigs were best method for for the tails. We are spending the day on the beach fishing for bass yellowtail and maybe trying a few halibut drifts. Check back later. Wish us luck. Matt and Independence crew
Trip 21-33
We got underway the day after thanksgiving and headed south. The gang from Brandon Miller’s 11 day got acquainted and the giveaways began. There was graftech rods, nomad jigs, reel bags, and lots of swag to go with it. Also thanks to Dale Hightower for the seaguar Fluorocarbon and Hyabusa hooks. We started fishing this morning and had excellent wahoo fishing. Nice fat wahoo where waiting for is and we were able to get everyone at least one wahoo today. Unfortunately I only managed one photo throughout the pandemonium.. We have outstanding weather and we are gonna make a move and make another attempt at wahoo and tuna tomorrow. Wish us luck. Matt and Independence crew.
Here’s John with a sample of today’s catch, more photos to follow
