Trip #22-1 1-6-2022 UNITED COMPOSITE RODS/Bubba
Good morning everyone. We left Thursday January 6th for our annual United Composite Bubba 16 Day with a great group of guys. We loaded the boat full of bait and took off south bound. Everyone is getting their gear ready and are super excited to be out on the water. We still have a few more days of travel before we get to our destination but stay tuned we'll check back soon for an update. Captain Brian

We are excited to say that today was our last day of traveling. The guys are ready to rock and put a line in the water. We'll be at the bank tomorrow morning hoping for some hungry fish around. Check back in tomorrow. Wish us luck!
trip 22-1 great start
We had a great start to our trip for our first day of fishing. Took awhile for the fish to start bitting but we managed to catch a few. The weather isn't in our favor for the next few days with wind and rain but hopefully the fish don't mind. Going to try again tomorrow.
trip 22-1 Weather is not so good
Mother nature is making it tough for us today. Through all the pouring rain and wind the guys did a great job. We caught 23 fish today and hoping for another great day tomorrow.
trip 22-1 INTERNET WAS DOWN
Hi Friends and Families. I just spoke to our Skipper moments ago on one of our SAT phone. We would like to appologize for no contact during this trip...Internet and phone service was completely down..He said he would have pictures to post when the trip returns on Saturday 22nd..(cannot post pictures from Satellite). The boat is fine, and so are your loved ones. Judy

This photo just came in..we have a set of twins....on another note..the boat will arrive at 5am Saturday morning..Thanks to everyone that was understanding about our internet, that they cannot when they are at sea..Judy

Good morning everyone. We lost communication for a bit but just wanted to let everyone know we are okay and are traveling up the line from excellent fishing the last few days. The guys put in a lot of effort to catch what we caught. Majority of the fish are 100-160 pound yellowfin tuna with a few bigger and lots of mid grade tuna 40-70lbs. Wahoo fishing was on the tough side but managed to catch 50 for our trip. We've had decent weather so far and making great speed. We'll be in on Saturday morning. Come on down and check out our catch. We'll see you Saturday morning.

trip 22-2 Phenix Rods -open
We got underway with Rogers Phenix rods sponsored trip. The gang is back together and eager as ever. We are rolling down in hopes the fishing holds up down below for our 16 day trip. Lots of rigging is how the first few days were spent after the great raffle and giveaways were dispersed. We will check back in a day or so and let you know how we are liking it.
